Woodworking by Adam specializes in handcrafted wood products. Due to the natural characteristics of wood and the handmade nature of our products, each item is unique.

Natural variations including, but not limited to:

• Grain pattern

• Colour

• Knots

• Mineral streaks

• Figure

• Texture

are expected and are not considered defects.

Product photographs are intended to represent the style and design of each product. Actual products may differ slightly from the images shown.

 

2. Pricing

Unless otherwise stated, all prices are listed in Canadian Dollars (CAD).

Prices, promotions, and product availability may change without notice.

Applicable taxes and shipping charges will be calculated during checkout where required.

 

3. Orders

We reserve the right to refuse, cancel, or limit any order for any reason, including but not limited to:

• Product availability

• Pricing errors

• Suspected fraudulent activity

• Incorrect information provided by the customer

If payment has already been processed for a cancelled order, a full refund will be issued.

 

4. Custom and Personalized Orders

Custom-built and personalized products are manufactured specifically for the customer.

Once work has begun, custom orders cannot be cancelled, returned, or refunded unless required by applicable law.

Customers are responsible for reviewing and approving all dimensions, specifications, spelling, engraving, and design details before production begins.

Woodworking by Adam is not responsible for errors approved by the customer prior to production.

 

5. Shipping

Estimated production and delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

We are not responsible for delays caused by:

• Shipping carriers

• Weather

• Customs

• Postal disruptions

• Events beyond our reasonable control

Risk of loss transfers to the customer upon delivery of the Product to the shipping carrier.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that their shipping address is accurate before completing their purchase.

 

6. Returns and Refunds

Returns and refunds are governed by our Refund and Return Policy, which forms part of these Terms and Conditions.

 

7. Product Care

Wood is a natural material that expands and contracts in response to changes in humidity and temperature.

To maximize the lifespan of your Product, customers should follow all care instructions provided by Woodworking by Adam.

Unless otherwise specified, Products should not be:

• Placed in a dishwasher

• Soaked in water

• Left outdoors

• Exposed to excessive heat

• Stored in extremely dry or humid environments

• Exposed to cleaners and products not suitable for wood or porous materials

Wood cutting boards and other food-contact products should be maintained with food-safe mineral oil or another suitable food-safe wood conditioner as needed.

Damage resulting from improper use, improper care, abuse, accidents, neglect, or normal wear and tear is not covered.

 

8. Warranty Disclaimer

Except where prohibited by law, our Products are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Woodworking by Adam disclaims all warranties, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

Nothing in these Terms limits any consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable Canadian law.

 

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Woodworking by Adam shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from the purchase or use of our Products.

Our total liability relating to any Product shall not exceed the purchase price paid for that Product.

• Photographs

• Product designs

• Logos

• Graphics

is the property of Woodworking by Adam unless otherwise stated and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
